What’s crazy is that I see a lot of entrepreneurs who social media strategy is a mess. Unfortunately, that’s the main reason why they are not seeing profits in their business.
Believe It or not implementing a social media strategy is really really easy. So today I wanted to help you put a solid social media plan in place so that way you can focus on income-producing activities in your business and stop winging it on social media.
There are four things that you need to focus on when it comes to creating an effective social media strategy.
1. Pay attention to your audience
You need to know what your audience is struggling with. You need to genuinely care about their needs. Think about this, there are thousands of people online providing the services and products that you provide. What makes their audience keep coming back for more? Most likely it’s because their brand is listening to their audience and responding with exactly what they want and need. Don’t be the brand that focuses on themselves alone. I call those people hit and miss. Be the brand who listens and allows their audience to control the direction of their business when it comes to providing quality content on a regular.
2. Build Credibility
Focus on becoming the go-to person in your industry. You have to be the first person that your ideal client thinks about when they are facing a particular problem. Think about it like this. Why do you visit the websites that you visit right now? It’s probably because those people have established a relationship with you and they have established credibility. They’ve proven to you that they are knowledgeable so you can easily take their word with anything they say. Always make sure that your content is inspiring, positive, and filled with value. The more you teach and share the more credibility you will build. People buy from who they like, know, and trust.
3. Nurture your relationships
Use your social media as a way to build a strong community. Share your thoughts, your dreams and all exclusive content that you come across. The more you network is the more exposure that you will bring to your brand/business. Creating a community like atmosphere is powerful. Remember the point of being on social media is not to get one-time sales but tp build a community of life-long customers.
4. You gotta sell baby
It’s great to put together content, get creative, and motivate our audience, but you can’t forget that you are in business to make money. If you want a profitable business you have to sell. Period. If you implement these tips that I’m giving you today then selling will become very easy for you. No one is on social media to buy yet they are usually buying. There’s a method behind selling on social media and it starts with building Relationships. By listening to your audience, by building credibility, and by networking with them on a regular.
